ANOTHER man has been arrested and charged in relation to the murder of Thomas Harrison. Mr Harrison, 29, was murdered in the early hours of Sunday, August 5 in Huyton. He had been out for the evening with friends and family at a party before being fatally stabbed as he walked along Edinburgh Drive.

Man Jailed for Sex Attack

A MAN who carried out a sex assault on a woman while she slept was jailed for 32 months at Warrington Crown Court. Darren Atkinson, 42, of O'Leary Street, Orford, Warrington pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a woman in her 20s after a heavy drinking session.

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy killed in a car crash in Portugal was in remission from cancer, his headteacher said yesterday. Akshay Singh Patwal, of Grays, Essex, died when the vehicle he was travelling in left a road near Lisbon.

ADERANGED mass killer who wanted to record a murder for every square on a chessboard was formally found guilty yesterday of killing 48 people in Moscow. Alexander Pichushkin, 33, had boasted in court that he actually killed 63 people, one short of his target, and was angry with prosecutors who said there was no evidence to back his claim.
