A CURIOUS cat who ended up 300 miles from his Merseyside home, after hitching a ride with a removal van, will be reunited with his three-yearold owner today. The four-month-old kitten, called Gerrard, was playing in a neighbour's removal van in Elm Road, Seaforth, but did not jump out before the doors were shut. He was found when the van arrived in Hampshire and taken to Seadown Veterinary Practice, where he was affectionately named Jimmy Tarbuck after the Liverpool-born comedian.
