EASTENDERS (BBC1) After being dumped on her wedding day by Jack, Sharon rebounded straight into Phil's arms - but that's not the only sign she might not be coping with her heartbreak. There's also the little fact that she's been rifling though Tanya's bin in search of discarded painkillers. CORONATION STREET (ITV) Stella relies on Karl for support as she assesses the damage at the Rovers. Little wonder he's nervous, returning to the scene of the crime, but it doesn't stop him pressuring Stell...
Gan Elin Fflur [Northeast Region]
Afysech chi'n byw mewn byd un lliw? Beth am fyd cwbl wyn? Wel, wythnos yma mae cwmni'r Fran Wen yn mynd ar daith gyda''r cyfieithiad cyntaf o White, drama Andy Manley, sydd wedi anelu at blant rhwng dwy a phedair oed. Mae''n adrodd hanes dau gymeriad, Titrwm a Tatrwm, sy'n byw mewn byd cwbl wyn a chwbl berffaith. Ac ar ol cael cipolwg ar un o'r golygfeydd roeddwn i wedi gwirioni ac yn ysu gweld mwy - y gwirionedd ydi bod yna blentyn yn cuddio ym mhob un ohonom ni...
Stand by for Fight Knights ; Acting Giants Team Up for Catty New Comedy [Northeast Region]
Anew sitcom is about to be delivered by the television gods and this one really does look like it's breaking new ground. Vicious boasts acting luminaries Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi in the lead roles as two gay gentlemen who've lived together for almost 50 years. "It isn't a satire or an expose of gay life. These characters just happen to be gay," says McKellen of the six-part series penned by Gary Janetti, the man behind Will & Grace.
Travellers Open Up [Northeast Region]
HENRY McKean cleverly puts his quiet, soft-spoken manner to good use in a new, threepart documentary series. It lulls the folk he meets into trusting him, which means they open up far more easily about their lives and experiences than if he was one of the new breed of inyour-face reporters. McKean's latest subjects are Irish travellers; he wants to find out how their culture fits in with life in modern Ireland by exploring their lifestyle. In the first programme McKean is seen attending 18-ye...
Legacy of Laughter [Northeast Region]
TWO decades ago, Dave Allen made his final TV series, an ITV post- watershed strand which offended some, but delighted millions - which summed up most of his working life. The ex-Skegness Redcoat, newspaper dogsbody and strip show comedian drifted into showbusiness.
Chuckle Sisters ; Watson& Oliver Are Back with a Second Series [Northeast Region]
BEST friends and comedy partners Ingrid Oliver and Lorna Watson are back with a second series of their sketch show Watson & Oliver. "We're really thrilled to be back, because you get to put in all the things you've learned," explains Oliver. "So we've changed a little bit. Not all of it. We decided we didn't want to do all the same characters, because we didn't want it to be the same show. And we're doing more sketches per episode."
Telling the Truth About What Makes Us Laugh [Northeast Region]
HOW will the regulars and special guests get on this week as more tall tales are intermingled with 100 per cent correct statements in Would I Lie To You? That remains to be seen as host Rob Brydon welcomes team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack, along with guests Dara O Briain, Denise Van Outen, Rhod Gilbert and Vernon Kay. The six players will be dishing out absurd facts and plausible lies about themselves, but we'll have to wait and see who is telling the truth.
The Final Cookdown for Last Three Chefs [Northeast Region]
WHEN the latest series of MasterChef began, some fans may have been worried that the show had lost its hold on the public's imagination. After the success of the cosy, bunting-strewn Great British Bake- Off, a show on which Paul Hollywood telling someone their tart had a soggy bottom counted as stinging criticism, were viewers ready to take food seriously again? Luckily, it turns out they were, as the latest series has been as addictive as ever.
