Summary
ACCIDENTS in Aigburth and in the Switch Island area of Liverpool, caused major hold-ups last night. A 16-year-old girl suffered serious injuries to her right leg after being struck by a car in Aigburth Road, close to its junction with Ancaster Road,at around 7.10pm. The girl was taken by ambulance to Royal Liverpool Hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
