Summary
TO A landlubber such as myself, this painting is just that. Technically excellent and with the ship actually sailing through the waves not just perched on top of the water - a real sign of the artist's expertise - the oil on canvas is by celebrated Liverpool marine artist William Howard Yorke (1847-1921).
