British 400 metres number one Tim Benjamin has denied reports he has suffered a stroke.

The 23-year-old Olympic Games semi-finalist is currently a patient in London's Wellington hospital but a joint statement issued by UK Athletics and Benjamin yesterday announced he has not suffered a stroke.
