AMANDA CROOK (Southport Waterloo) won the Merseyside Women's senior cross country title but the team title was regained by Liverpool Harriers, who deposed Crook's club in a close battle.
Crook was always in command, striding away to victory with over a minute to spare. Liverpool's Catherine Draper was second and Kirsty Longley (LPS) third.
