THE Llandudno 10-mile race, long established as one of the most popular events in Wales, hits new heights this Sunday with a record entry of 1, 400.

Last year's winner Paul Ward (Wrekin) returns to defend his title, and runner-up Lee Reynolds (Staffs Moorland) has also entered. But they will face a tough challenge from Deeside's in- form Steven Henshaw.
