WALES manager John Toshack yesterday treated the media to a lesson in basic tactics ahead of this afternoon's must-win World Cup qualifier with Finland at the Millennium Stadium.

Acknowledging that anything less than a home victory would end Wales' already slim hopes of reaching the finals in South Africa next year, Toshack stonewalled a suggestion that he should adopt an attacking line-up.
