A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl went back to school yesterday - just three months after a life-saving heart transplant. Maia Collingswood underwent the surgery 14 years after her care worker dad Dan had the same operation.

She was welcomed back at Ysgol y Traeth in Barmouth yesterday morning - seven weeks earlier than expected.
