A PROMINENT human rights lawyer was yesterday appointed to conduct an independent inquiry into the controversial deaths of four young soldiers at the Army's Deepcut Barracks in Surrey.
Nicholas Blake QC will not carry out a fresh investigation of the deaths, which occurred between 1995 and 2002, but will reassess material already gathered in inquiries by the Ministry of Defence and Surrey Police.See the full content of this document
