TRAFFIC will return to a stretch of Liverpool's dock road later this month when the Bascule Bridge re-opens on August 25.

Regent Road, between Paisley Street and Blackstone Street, was shut in May, 2008, to enable repairs to the 78-year-old crossing which was condemned after corrosion was found.
