THE Bishop of Liverpool has spoken out against McDonalds for fining people who stay too long in some of their drivethrough car parks.

On Thought For The Day on Radio 4's Today programme yesterday, Rev James Jones referred to the case of a Sussex man who was fined after taking what he says was an hour to eat his food. He said: "Spare a thought for Jamie Thompson. His crime? Spending too long eating his burger and chips in a drivethrough car park.
