PRIME Minister Tony Blair was today accused of hypocrisy for promising to make trade fairer for developing countries while at the same time pushing them to open their markets to companies from the rich world.

The attack came in a report by development charity ActionAid, which warned that Britain was pushing poor countries to accept imports of products including textiles, leather, fish and cars.
