A TEENAGER left fighting for his life after being hit by a car has made a miracle recovery in time to accept an award for his school.

James Yale, 16, was in a coma for five months after the accident on the A494 in Queensferry in February 2008. But despite his horrific injuries, he is now able to walk short distances with the aid of crutches and is back at school full time.
