BEN BRISCOE continues his bid to win a place on the US PGA Tour in America when he tees up in the second stage of qualifying school at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brookville, Florida starting today.

The 28-year-old Old Colwyn left-hander is among 450 players competing over 72 holes at six different venues for a place in the final qualifying stage of the US PGA Tour School, which takes place over six rounds at the Nicklaus Tournament and TPC Stadium courses in La Quinta, California from November 30 to December 5. Speaking from Florida at the weekend Briscoe was upbeat about his current form after what has been a poor season.
