THE broadband take-up rate on Anglesey has reached 50% - with Conwy close behind on 49% and Caernarfon on nearly 45%. In England the nearest is Somerset on 45.7% and Oxfordshire on 45%.

As a whole Wales stands at 37% take-up - nearly 450,000 connections - against a UK average of 29%.
