VICE-CAPTAIN Brian Carney vowed to make amends for his "debacle" against New Zealand when Great Britain take on Australia in their must-win Gillette TriNations game at Wigan on Saturday.

The 29-year-old Irishman produced a nightmare display in Britain's opening game at Loftus Road, twice fumbling high kicks and allowing his opposite number Manu Vatuvei to get past him three times before being substituted before the end of his side's 42-26 defeat.
