Summary
THE past three months have seen a young person become unemployed nearly every minute. There are now 60,700 eighteen to 24-year-olds claiming Job Seeker"s Allowance across the North West region -the highest number in the country. This costs the state more than pounds 3m per week and has risen a startling 69% in just one year.
