CHESTER City may be reinstated into the FA Cup, after it was found that Bury had played an ineligible player during the second- round replay at the Deva Stadium on Tuesday.

Steve Turnbull, who is currently on loan with the Gigg Lane outfit from Hartlepool United, apparently hadn't been sanctioned to play in the match, and the north Manchester club will have to face an FA enquiry on Wednesday to disclose why he was a member of their starting line-up.
