A FTER all the talk of future pandemics and preparations, last week bird flu came close to home when two Merseysiders tested positive for the virus following an outbreak in North Wales.
Fortunately the pair, from St Helens, were diagnosed with H7N2 low pathogenic avian influenza, a less dangerous strain than the deadly H5N1 and were given the all-clear shortly afterwards.See the full content of this document
