Summary
FURTHER to Peggy Owen's letter about the smoking ban in pubs, I have just returned from Berlin where I visited my favourite pub. All the seats were taken by soccer fans, so I sat for two hours watching an extra TV in a fully glazed enclosed area for smoking, and not once did I experience any smoke drifting around me.
The absence of smoke was due to two powerful 1.8m x 20 cm cylindrical appliances suspended at high level that were cleaning the air.See the full content of this document
