THE role of creative education in generating economic growth will be debated at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool this month. The Association of British Orchestras (ABO) is holding a fringe event to promote its message that "cultural education is crucial to the UK's employment and growth".
The ABO says schools and colleges are uncertain about what the future holds for music education, as the current round of Government funding ends in April.
