RAIL travellers on some North Wales services are being warned they could face prosecution if they try to travel without tickets because Virgin Trains' guards are refusing to sell tickets on board trains.

From Wednesday,guards are refusing to use new on-board ticketing machines, which the union says were imposed on staff without agreement.
