BIG attendances will help the Flintshire and District National Eisteddfod to break even, it was revealed on Saturday.

Officials revealed 154,944 people had visited the festival, staged at the Pentrehobyn estate near Mold, last week. This was more than last year and only just under the Eryri Eisteddfod two years ago.
