Summary

A MAN rescued from a dinghy in the Albert Dock was last night being treated for hypothermia. The unnamed man had found the dinghy tied up at the dockside at around 5pm, and took it onto the water as sleet and hail rained down.

As the Met Office issued further severe weather warnings, police and fire crews were called to scene at the Edward Pavilion. The man, thought to have been rowing in the dock for over an hour, was eventually brought to the side after some persuasion from the emergency services.
