Summary
It is nothing new to link human behaviour to physical factors, some from outside our earth. Two examples spring to mind. One is the belief that peoples' minds can be influenced by the moon; - hence "loony" and "lunatic" . Another extra-terrestrial phenomenon thought to change human behaviour, is the eleven-year sun-spot cycle, when radiation patterns from the sun show a noticeable increase in activity. That impacts directly on the earth - including our weather, which then influences human behaviour.
