Summary
NEAR Havant in Hampshire, in the middle of one of the largest housing estates in Europe, is a primary school where the children have an outdoor classroom. Here they are taught about the world around them, about the wildlife that can be found on the school's site and about global warming and the importance of conservation.
Soon the school will be getting a state of the art classroom that will have a wind turbine and solar-power lighting. The head, a Mr Harris, says he has a strong desire to teach the pupils about the importance of conservation because he doesn't see how people can care about the environment and global warming without having a love of the world.
