RESERVES MATCH Preston North End Reserves 4 Wrexham Reserves 2 WREXHAM reserves went down to a 4-2 defeat at Preston North End yesterday. Goals from Christian Smith and David Brown were not enough as a Dragons side mixed with youth and experience crashed to the loss.

Wrexham began well in the opening 15 minutes, pushing their Championship hosts back, but went behind on 17 minutes.
