Summary
NOT having ventured over the threshold of the NewInn since the National Eisteddfod hit town one wild week back in 1989, but having been told it's been newly refurbished, it was with a mixture of excitement and trepidation I push open the door.
After all, doesn't refurbishment usually equate to character and tradition being ripped out, to be replaced by plastic tat, screwed- on black beams and makebelieve Victoriana? Not that I'd have taken in the dcor during Eisteddfod week in the first place.See the full content of this document
