OMPACT MPVs are becoming increasingly clever. The best transform themselves in seconds from mini bus to van thanks to seats which fold, tumble, disappear into the floor or come out altogether.

Spanish car maker SEAT thinks, however, that many of us would be happy enough with a bit more flexibility than a normal hatch back but without this host of seat permutations.
