AFTER using a personal computer for a few years, you reach a point where you know where everything is. All your personal settings are arranged to suit you,and your files and documents sorted in a manner that you understand.

From then on, the only difficulty you face is fighting your way through the computer's interface to find the things you want.It's all very well knowing that such-and- such a file is located in so- and-sofolder,but that means that every time you want to edit that file, you have to go through the laborious process of burrowing into the hierarchy of files and folders on your PC,find the right chunk of data,and double-click on it before you get started. For someone who has spent years building up a logical file system with many different branches and sub-folders, it can be a pain in the neck.
