LAUGHING for at least 15 minutes a day can reduce the risk of developing heart and other cardiovascular diseases, according to BUPA.

Tests found that laughing increased blood flow by more than 20%, as it caused the tissue that forms the inner lining of the blood vessels to expand, with a positive effect lasting for around 30 to 45 minutes.
