WEST HAM manager Alan Pardew is set to offer veteran Teddy Sheringham a new one-year contract and an increased coaching staff role.

Sheringham, 40 in April, is anxious to extend his current deal which expires at the end of this season. Tottenham, who allowed Sheringham to leave in 2003, and Blackburn are both reported to be interested in signing the former England striker.
