MR HOULLIER stated that we haven't got the finances of Manchester United and Chelsea,and couldn't go out and spend pounds 28mor pounds 30m on one player.

If that is the case, surely we need changes in the boardroom. If the present directors haven't the finances for the club to compete for top quality players then surely the time has come for them to go.
