CHESTER City held their first AGM for 17 years at the Deva Stadium last night and despite a couple of disappointing seasons on the field, the club presented a healthy set of accounts to the assembled shareholders.

City reported trading profits of pounds 14,000 and pounds 48,000 in their accounts for the past two years and also reported the club does not have a bank overdraft, nor does it have bank loans, or bank borrowings, unlike a lot of other clubs in the Football League.
