ALAN SHEARER was kicking himself over the one which got away despite firing himself ever closer to Jackie Milburn's Newcastle goals record.

The 34-year-old took his club tally to 191 goals in Wednesday night's UEFA Cup demolition of Olympiakos and is now nine short of Milburn's total, but time is running out before his retirement at the end of the season.
