A BRITISH football teamcould take part in the 2012 Olympics without damaging the future of the home nations' national teams, a cabinet minister said yesterday.

International football chiefs said a tournament could take place without affecting the status of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, said Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy.
