THE second coming of English golfer Barry Lane continued yesterday when he burst into contention at the Open championship.

Just two months after achieving his first victory for a decade at the British Masters, the 44-year-old birdied the final two holes at Royal Troon for a sparkling 68 and five-under aggregate of 137.
