MARK WILLIAMS won a stableford at CLAYS with 44 points, three ahead of Ian Cooper

PAST captain Lew Davies had his seven handicap reduced to five for winter comps when he won the latest round of the Winter League at DENBIGH with 40 points. He won on a countback from Alyn Lloyd and Eric Birch in the Silver Division, Lloyd winning the division with Glyn Williams (39) third. The Gold Division went to Carl Gittens with 38, one ahead of Phil O'Loughlin, who took second on a countback from club captain John Kenny. Jonathon Copeland won the Bronze Division with 36 from Derek Howell and Alan Thornhill, both 35. Eilian Williams had a second and third in two senior stablefords. He was beaten by Peter Harding in the first after they both got 40 points, one ahead of Barry Fishwick in third, then in the second he bagged 38 points to finish behind Ed Smith, whose 43 put him three clear of Tony Butler NEW captain Paul Sherrington took third place with 37 points, hours after driving into office at RHOSMARK WILLIAMS won a stableford at CLAYS with 44 points, three ahead of Ian Cooper
