Summary
WITH reference to the article by Eryl Crump 'It's a slow life' (Daily Post, January 3). Last Saturday, I made a navigational error while walking in the Berwyns. It became clear I was on the wrong track and the light was quickly receding. Eventually, I reached a farmhouse to ask about my whereabouts. It turned out I was a mile or so from Llandrillo, about 15 miles by road from where my car was parked. Via this letters page I would like to thank the very kind farmers wife who offered to drive me into the village.
Being very wet and tired, I gladly accepted the ride and within five minutes of being dispatched to Llandrillo, the 4.15pm X94 arrived, albeit five minutes late, which I was very grateful for, I did not feel it was particularly slow, and was back in Wrexham before 5.30pm which I felt was very good.See the full content of this document
