Summary
THE arrival of Queen Mary 2 on her maiden visit to the Port of Liverpool is a great event in the annals of Liverpool's reviving maritime fortunes. This 150,000-ton flagship of the Cunard Line is a most welcome visitor to the river, and is sure to prove a great crowd puller and public attraction.
This prompts me to question the continuing failure to develop the waterfront south to Otterspool Promenade and the whole length of the Wirral side from New Brighton, perhaps as far as Eastham, to take advantage of these attractions.See the full content of this document
