BLISTERING sunshine and blue skies have led to thousands of tourists descending on north west Wales - causing traffic chaos.

Hot weather over the weekend has continued throughout the week and ensured businesses on the Llyn peninsula did not miss out on the influx of holiday revellers. Many reported an increase in trade after the Bank Holiday weekend.
