GWYNEDD COUNCIL PUBLIC AUDIT (WALES) ACT 2004, SECTIONS 30 AND 31 ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT (WALES) REGULATIONS 2005 Audit of Accounts for the Financial year 2010/2011 NOTICE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS 1. Persons interested may inspect and make copies of the accounts of the Gwynedd Council for the financial year 2010/2011 together with all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to those accounts at the Finance Service, Council Offices, Shirehall Street, Caernarfon during the period 3 August, 2011 to 31 August, 2011 inclusive from Monday to Friday each week between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.. The Statement of Accounts will also be available on the website at www.gwynedd.gov.uk 2. The auditor is the Appointed Auditor, Wales Audit Office, 24 Cathedral Road, Cardiff CF11 9LJ.
3. On or after 1 September, 2011 local government electors from Gwynedd will have the right to require the auditor to give them or their representative an opportunity to question him about the accounts and the right for them or their representatives to attend before the auditor and make objections: 3.1 on the grounds that any item of account is contrary to law, that any person has failed to bring into account any such which should have been so included and that the failure has not been sanctioned by the Secretary of State for Wales, or that a loss has been incurred of deficiency caused by the wilful misconduct of any person: or 3.2 with respect to any matter coming to the notice of the auditor in the course of the audit upon which he could make a report in the public interest.See the full content of this document
