A PUBLIC inquiry into a pounds 71m scheme to create a seven-lane monster highway through the gateway to North Wales opened yesterday.
Fifty-three homes will be demolished if the A494 dual carriageway between the River Dee and St David's Park Interchange at Ewloe is expanded to four lanes up and three down the Aston Hill. In places, with hard shoulders and slip road, there will be up to 12 lanes on what objectors have called the "highway to hell."See the full content of this document
