IAM writing this week's column on Llandudno's promenade, looking out at a rough sea, the wind blowing hard in my face and a seagull hovering overhead, trying to work out if I have food in my hand.

No such luck - just a notepad and pen. I wanted to write this article, not from a comfy chair in a warm office, but right here on the prom in front of this wonderful but threatened view.
