ICELAND founder Malcolm Walker said he feared he would end up in jail "like Jeffrey Archer" during a Serious Fraud Office investigation into alleged insider share dealing by the tycoon.

Mr Walker left the frozen food retailer under a cloud in January, 2001, amid allegations that he had sold pounds 13.5m of shares in the company just days before a shock profits warning.
