LIVERPOOL-BASED insurance group Royal & Sun Alliance yesterday reported firstquarter profits far exceeding City analysts' expectations.
The firm said its operating profit for the first three months of 2005 was pounds 160m - far higher than the average analysts' forecast of pounds 118m RSA, which operates the More Than brand, said pretax profits totalled pounds 122m for the period, compared with pounds 44m a year earlier.See the full content of this document
