BACK in Glasgow, last weekend, for a glitzy party thrown by good pal John Amabile, designer extraordinaire on ITV's 60 Minute Make Over, we were delighted to find time to wander the city in search of some new threads to dazzle our effusive host.
Wandering the city, it was all going terribly well until we stumbled across something awful. As we turned a corner on Pitt Street we encountered a massive void where once had been an imposing, pillared church - one of our favourite Scottish buildings. It transpired a fire had taken hold several days earlier and, after risk assessment, it was decided the building should be pulled down for reasons of health and safety.See the full content of this document

Interiors: A Treasure Trove of Style
We were further saddened to learn that the site had been cleared almost immediately leaving no trace of the building's stunning Corinthian columns, its ornate corbels or its intricately carved banisters.
