IWAS out "Atlasing" at the weekend, adding more records to the North Wales Breeding Bird Atlas, and it seems that redstarts have had a good year.
In a 2km square above Bylchau, Denbigh, young redstarts were everywhere. They look like juvenile robins - brown and spotty - but fly with a flash of orange tail, or pump it vigorously as they perch on a fencepost.See the full content of this document
